My son has been using novuhair since last jan. and has not indulge with scalp analysis before using it. Hope you will have schedule of free hair and scalp analysis this coming april in any mercury drug stores in Calabarzon, preferably in Calamba or if only possible in our place in San Pablo city, Laguna where there are 5 branches. I do have some kind of scalp problems like dandruff and most of all baldness. I have no idea if it is hereditary by nature or something.

i’m 50+ years old and my father was bald. is Novuhair recommended for someone like me. I mean will it still work for me considering I’m old and it could be hereditary. I started losing my hair 2 years ago, and started using Novuhair, but I’m not noticing any obvious result. should i just continue using it? or there is nothing Novuhair could do for me?
Hello Edu 🙂 Thanks for the inquiry. DHT or Dihydrotestosterone is a hormone or enzyme that negatively affects the hair follicles of those with hereditary hair loss, starting at puberty stage. The DHT causes the hair follicles to shrink or miniaturize and eventually produce thinner hair. NOVUHAIR® does not have any direct effect on DHT but may help continuously nourish the hair follicles thus prevent further thinning.
If you find the affected area to be shiny and no visible thin hairs, it’s impossible to stimulate hair growth. The best solution is to act now and start saving the thin hairs that are still growing. If your hair follicles are undernourished and frequently exposed to harmful chemicals, etc. this leads to shrinkage therefore producing thinner hair. What’s alarming is that if you don’t nourish your hair follicles now, the next batch of hair that will grow will become thinner until the worse scenario… completely bald. The remaining hair are equally important.
